About Us
Pelham Engineering Consultancy was established in 2019 to provide independent, high-calibre rotating equipment expertise to industries where machinery performance and reliability are critical to safety, production, and commercial outcomes.
The technical engineering side of the consultancy business is supported by Rick Jackson, a Chartered Mechanical Engineer (CEng, MIMechE), Rotating Equipment Specialist, and Mechanical SME with:
- 33+ years of international experience.
- Extensive work across hydrogen, oil & gas, power generation, and renewable energy sectors.
- A career spanning operations, FEED, detailed design, construction, commissioning, life cycle extension, failure recovery and asset management.
- A strong background in RCFA investigations, vibration diagnostics, reliability engineering, and technical assurance.
Rick provides independent senior mechanical advisory services, engineering review, and technical assurance for complex rotating equipment systems including:
- Gas turbines
- Centrifugal, reciprocating & screw compressors
- Reciprocating engines
- High‑pressure pumps
- Gearboxes
- HV‑motor‑driven machinery
Rick is currently completing a PhD (part time) in hydrogen-diesel hybrid combustion, strengthening Pelham Engineering’s capability in emerging hydrogen technologies.
