Hydrogen Engineering and Renewable Energy Expertise

Pelham Engineering Consultancy has supported major hydrogen and renewable energy developments, delivering senior mechanical engineering expertise across FEED, detailed design, and construction phases. Below are examples of this work.

1. CQH2 Project (FEED Study) - Queensland

The CQH2 Project was a landmark green hydrogen development, to be delivered in four phases. Each phase adding 200 tonnes per day (tpd) of liquefied hydrogen production capacity with the project reaching a total capacity of 800 tpd at final completion.

2. Biomethane Injection Facility - Jemena / Sydney Water, Malabar, NSW

Located at Sydney Water's Resource Recovery Facility, this project upgraded biogas from wastewater treatment into pipeline-quality biomethane for injection into Jemena's gas network. It was Australia's first facility of this kind, initially, producing around 95 TJ/year of renewable gas — enough to supply roughly 6,300 homes — with potential to scale up to 200 TJ/year. Notably, combusting this biomethane cuts emissions by over 90% compared to natural gas.
