Hydrogen and Renewable Energy Expertise

Pelham Engineering Consultancy has supported major hydrogen and renewable energy developments, including:

1. CQH2 (FEED study) – The project consisted of four phases, with each stage adding 200 tonnes per day (tpd) of liquefied hydrogen to the production capacity, totalling 800 tpd after the final stage.

Services Provided:

  • Mechanical lead for hydrogen compression, liquefaction and ammonia synthesis facility.
  • Electrolyser and compressor interface engineering support.
  • Route identification and verification for the 24km, DN1050 hydrogen pipeline.

2. Biomethane Injection Facility – The project treated biogas from Sydney Waters Malabar wastewater treatment plant before refining the biogas into a high-quality biomethane. The refined biomethane was transferred to a compression facility prior to injection into Jemena’s natural gas network.

Services Provided:

  • Lead mechanical engineer
